Part 5: Olivia: A Slave of Lagos "Abdulazeez, James, Olufunmilayo, and Olivia: A Tale of Ancient Lagos"

Olivia was a young girl of about fourteen years old. She was born into slavery in Lagos, and had been a slave since she was a child. She was a hard worker, and was often put to work in the fields, or in the homes of the wealthy. She had no family to speak of, and her only friends were the other slaves she worked with.

Olivia was a kind and gentle soul, but she was also very strong. She was determined to make the best of her situation, and she worked hard to make sure she was able to provide for herself and the other slaves. She was often seen as a leader among the slaves, and she was respected by her peers.

One day, Olivia was walking through the market when she saw a group of people gathered around a man. She stopped to listen, and heard the man telling a story about a group of brave children who had escaped from slavery. Olivia was inspired by the story, and she decided that she too wanted to be free.

That night, Olivia snuck out of her master's house and made her way to the docks. She was determined to find a way to escape Lagos and find freedom. She was able to find a boat that was heading to a nearby island, and she was able to board it without being seen.

Olivia was able to make it to the island, and she was welcomed by the people there. She was able to find work and eventually saved enough money to buy her freedom. She was able to start a new life, and she was finally free.

Olivia was a brave and determined young woman, and her story is an inspiration to all who hear it. She was able to overcome her circumstances and find freedom, and she serves as a reminder that no matter how difficult life may seem, there is always hope.
