James, Tijjani, Timilehin, and Fatima had been in Lagos for a few days now and were eager to explore the countryside. They decided to take a day trip to the villages of Lagos.
The four of them hopped on a bus and set off for the villages. As they drove, they were amazed by the beauty of the countryside. The lush green fields, the bright blue sky, and the vibrant colors of the flowers were breathtaking.
When they arrived at the first village, they were welcomed by the friendly villagers. The children ran up to them and asked them to join in their games. James, Tijjani, Timilehin, and Fatima happily obliged and spent the afternoon playing with the children.
The next village they visited was even more beautiful. The villagers were even more welcoming and invited them to join in their traditional dances. James, Tijjani, Timilehin, and Fatima happily accepted and spent the evening dancing and singing with the villagers.
The third village they visited was the most remote of all. The villagers were very hospitable and invited them to stay for the night. They were given a traditional meal and were allowed to sleep in the village huts.
The next morning, they were invited to join in the village’s morning prayer. After the prayer, the villagers gave them a tour of the village and showed them the various crops they grew.
The four of them were amazed by the beauty of the villages and the hospitality of the villagers. They thanked the villagers for their kindness and set off for the bus station.
As they drove back to Lagos, they reflected on their wonderful day in the villages. They had experienced a side of Lagos they had never seen before and were grateful for the opportunity to explore the countryside.
