The three friends had been travelling for days, and they were exhausted. They had been searching for the Witch-Queen, who was said to be able to lift the curse that had been placed upon them. Finally, they had reached her domain.
The Witch-Queen's castle was a dark and foreboding place. It was surrounded by a thick forest, and the trees seemed to whisper secrets to each other. The castle was made of black stone, and the windows were barred with iron.
The three friends approached the castle cautiously. They had heard stories of the Witch-Queen's cruelty, and they were afraid. But they had come too far to turn back now.
Mus'ab, Ngozi, and Olufunmilayo stepped through the castle gates and into the courtyard. There, they were met by a tall, thin figure. It was the Witch-Queen herself.
The Witch-Queen was dressed in a long black robe, and her face was hidden in the shadows of her hood. She looked at the three friends with cold, calculating eyes.
"What do you want?" she asked in a voice that was both powerful and menacing.
Mus'ab stepped forward and spoke. "We have come to ask for your help. We are cursed, and we need you to lift the curse."
The Witch-Queen laughed. "You think you can come here and ask for my help? You are foolish. I do not help those who do not deserve it."
Mus'ab, Ngozi, and Olufunmilayo looked at each other in despair. It seemed that their quest was doomed to fail.
But then, the Witch-Queen spoke again. "However," she said, "I may be willing to help you if you can prove yourselves worthy."
The Witch-Queen then presented the three friends with a challenge. She told them that if they could complete three tasks, she would lift the curse.
The first task was to retrieve a magical artifact from the depths of a nearby lake. The second task was to find a rare herb that only grew in the darkest parts of the forest. And the third task was to bring back a feather from a phoenix that lived in the highest mountain peak.
Mus'ab, Ngozi, and Olufunmilayo accepted the challenge. They knew that it would be difficult, but they were determined to succeed.
The three friends set off on their quest. They faced many dangers and obstacles, but eventually, they were able to complete all three tasks.
When they returned to the Witch-Queen's castle, she was pleased. She lifted the curse, and the three friends were free.
The Witch-Queen had kept her word, and Mus'ab, Ngozi, and Olufunmilayo were overjoyed. They thanked the Witch-Queen for her help, and then they set off on their journey home.
The three friends had faced many dangers and hardships, but they had triumphed in the end. They had broken the curse of 856AD, and they were finally free.
