The day of the unveiling of the curse had finally arrived. Oluwatobiloba and James had been preparing for this day for weeks, gathering all the information they could about the curse and the ritual that would be required to lift it. Adeola had been helping them as much as she could, but she was still nervous about the whole thing.
The three of them arrived at the site of the ritual just before dawn. It was a small clearing in the woods, surrounded by ancient trees and a few old stones. Oluwatobiloba and James began to prepare the ritual, while Adeola stood back and watched.
When the sun rose, the ritual began. Oluwatobiloba and James chanted in unison, and the air around them began to shimmer with energy. As the ritual progressed, the energy grew stronger and stronger, until finally a figure appeared in the center of the clearing.
It was an old man, dressed in a long white robe. He had a long white beard and piercing eyes that seemed to look right through them. He spoke in a deep, raspy voice.
“I am the one who cursed Oluwatobiloba,” he said. “I am the one who put the curse on him and his family. I have been watching him for many years, and I am here to tell him the truth.”
The old man then proceeded to tell Oluwatobiloba the story of how he had been cursed. He explained that many years ago, Oluwatobiloba’s ancestor had angered a powerful spirit, and the spirit had cursed his family line. The curse had been passed down through the generations, and now it had finally come to rest on Oluwatobiloba.
The old man then told Oluwatobiloba the only way to break the curse. He said that he must travel to the spirit’s home in the forest and perform a special ritual. If he succeeded, the curse would be lifted and his family would be free.
Oluwatobiloba thanked the old man and then set off on his journey. He was determined to break the curse and free his family from its grasp.
Adeola and James watched as he disappeared into the forest. They both knew that this was the beginning of a long and difficult journey, but they also knew that Oluwatobiloba was strong enough to succeed.
