Part 1: The Prophecy of the Curse The Curse of the Ile-Ife and Oyo: A Thriller of Ancient Times

The kingdom of Ile-Ife was a prosperous one, ruled by the wise and powerful Oba Ogun. He had brought peace and prosperity to the kingdom, and the people of Ile-Ife were content and happy.

But one day, a mysterious stranger appeared in the court of Oba Ogun. He was an old man, with a long white beard and a staff in his hand. He said he was a prophet, and he had come to deliver a prophecy to the Oba.

The old man said that the kingdom of Ile-Ife was cursed, and that the curse would bring destruction and chaos to the kingdom. He said that the only way to break the curse was for Oba Ogun to send a messenger to the kingdom of Oyo, to ask for help.

The Oba was skeptical, but he agreed to send the messenger. The messenger was sent to the kingdom of Oyo, and he returned with a strange and powerful artifact. It was a bronze mask, with a face of a lion.

The old man said that this mask was the key to breaking the curse. He said that the mask must be worn by a brave warrior, who would travel to the kingdom of Oyo and battle the forces of evil that had cursed Ile-Ife.

The Oba agreed, and he chose his bravest warrior, a young man named Ogun. Ogun was given the mask, and he set off on his quest.

The people of Ile-Ife watched as Ogun left, and they prayed that he would succeed in his mission. Little did they know that the prophecy of the curse was about to come true.
