The three friends had finally reached the end of their journey. After weeks of searching, they had finally arrived at the palace of the Ooni of Ile-Ife. As they entered the palace, they were met with a grand hall filled with people from all walks of life.
The Ooni was seated on a throne at the far end of the hall. He was an old man with a long white beard and a stern expression on his face. He looked down at the three friends and spoke in a deep voice.
"You have come here seeking answers to the curse that has been placed upon your people. I have been expecting you."
The Ooni then proceeded to tell them the story of the curse. He explained how it had been placed on the people of Ile-Ife and Katsina by a powerful witch many years ago. The witch had been angered by the people's refusal to pay her tribute and had cursed them with a terrible plague.
The Ooni went on to explain that the only way to break the curse was to find the witch and make her reverse the spell. He then revealed that the witch was currently living in a cave in the mountains of Katsina.
The three friends were determined to break the curse and set off immediately. After a long and arduous journey, they eventually reached the cave and confronted the witch. After much pleading and bargaining, the witch finally agreed to reverse the curse.
The three friends returned to Ile-Ife and Katsina and were welcomed with open arms. The people were overjoyed to be free from the curse and celebrated with great joy.
The Ooni was so pleased with the three friends that he granted them a special blessing. He said that as long as they remained true to their friendship, they would always be blessed with good fortune.
The three friends thanked the Ooni for his kindness and left the palace with a newfound sense of hope. They had broken the curse of the Ooni and their people were free once more.
