Part 5: The Fall of the Twin Kingdoms "The Curse of the Twin Kingdoms: A Tale of Ancient Kigali and Katsina"

The fall of the twin kingdoms of Kigali and Katsina began with a series of natural disasters that struck the two cities. In the spring of 704, a severe drought hit the region, causing crops to fail and livestock to die. This was followed by a plague of locusts that destroyed what little remained of the crops.

The people of Kigali and Katsina were already suffering from the effects of the drought and locusts when a massive earthquake struck the region. The earthquake caused massive destruction to both cities and their surrounding areas. Buildings were destroyed, roads were blocked, and the people were left without food or shelter.

The people of Kigali and Katsina were desperate for help, but none was forthcoming. The neighboring kingdoms refused to send aid, and the people were left to fend for themselves. With no food or shelter, many of the people of the twin kingdoms died of starvation or disease.

The survivors of the twin kingdoms were left with no choice but to flee. They scattered across the region, seeking refuge in other cities and towns. The once-great cities of Kigali and Katsina were left in ruins, and the twin kingdoms were no more.
