James and Adeola had been searching for the source of the curse that had been plaguing the twin kingdoms of Lagos and Kano for centuries. After months of searching, they had finally reached the end of their quest.
The two of them stood in the center of an ancient temple, surrounded by crumbling stone walls and a thick layer of dust. In the center of the room was a large stone altar, and on it was a strange object. It was a small, black box, with a single red eye in the center.
James and Adeola cautiously approached the altar, and Adeola reached out to open the box. As soon as she touched it, a loud voice boomed out from the box.
"You have come to the source of the curse that has been plaguing the twin kingdoms of Lagos and Kano for centuries. I am the spirit of the curse, and I have been waiting for someone to come and break it. If you can answer my riddle, then I will break the curse and the twin kingdoms will be free from its grasp."
The spirit then asked them a riddle: "What is the one thing that can never be taken away?"
James and Adeola thought for a moment before Adeola spoke up. "Hope," she said confidently.
The spirit was pleased with her answer and the box opened, revealing a bright light that filled the room. As the light faded, the curse was broken and the twin kingdoms were free.
James and Adeola had succeeded in their quest and the twin kingdoms were now safe. They had saved the people of Lagos and Kano from the curse, and they were rewarded with a hero's welcome when they returned home.
