The morning of the day of the lifting of the curse was finally here. Tijjani, Abdulazeez, Olayinka, and Zainab had all gathered together in the village square to witness the event.
The village elders had gathered around a large fire, and they began to chant and sing ancient songs. They waved their hands over the fire, and the flames began to rise higher and higher.
Suddenly, a bright light shone down from the sky, and the four friends felt a warmth radiating from the fire. As the light grew brighter, they felt a strange sensation, as if something was being lifted from their bodies.
