The next morning, Oliver, Benjamin, and Olufunmilayo were ready to explore the Stone Town of Zanzibar. They had heard so much about it and were excited to finally see it for themselves.
The Stone Town was a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, lined with old buildings and shops. The streets were bustling with people, and the smell of spices filled the air. Everywhere they looked, there was something new to explore.
The trio stopped to admire the architecture of the old buildings. They were amazed by the intricate carvings and the colorful doors and windows. They also noticed the many mosques and churches that dotted the town.
They stopped for lunch at a small cafe and enjoyed some delicious local food. After lunch, they continued their exploration and visited the House of Wonders, a museum dedicated to the history of Zanzibar.
They also visited the old slave market, a reminder of the dark history of the island. Despite the somber atmosphere, they were still able to appreciate the beauty of the town.
As the day came to an end, they returned to their hotel, exhausted but satisfied. They had seen so much and learned a lot about the culture and history of Zanzibar. They were already looking forward to their next adventure.
