Part 2: The Curse of the Pharaohs (155 BC) The Curse of the Ancient Pharaohs

The Pharaohs of Egypt had been ruling for centuries, and their power was absolute. They were believed to be gods, and their word was law. But their reign was not without its challenges.

In 155 BC, a new Pharaoh, Ptolemy VIII, came to power. He was a cruel and oppressive ruler, and his reign was marked by violence and oppression. He was so hated by his people that they began to whisper of a curse that had been placed upon him by the gods.

The curse was said to be that anyone who harmed the Pharaoh or his family would suffer a horrible fate. It was said that anyone who did so would be cursed with a slow and painful death.

The people of Egypt began to fear the Pharaoh and his family, and many began to avoid them altogether. They believed that the curse was real, and that it would bring bad luck and misfortune to anyone who crossed the Pharaoh.

The Pharaoh's reign was short-lived, however, as he was overthrown by his own son in 145 BC. But the curse of the Pharaohs still lingered in the minds of the people of Egypt. They believed that the curse was still in effect, and that it would bring bad luck and misfortune to anyone who dared to cross the Pharaoh.
