The next morning, the group of friends gathered in the living room of the Phantom Mansion. They had all stayed the night, determined to get to the bottom of the mystery.
"So, what do we do now?" asked Jack.
"We need to find out what's going on," said Sarah. "We need to find out why this place is cursed."
"I think the best place to start is the library," said Alex. "There must be some books in there that can tell us more about the history of this place."
The group made their way to the library, which was located in the east wing of the mansion. Inside, they found a vast array of books, some of which were hundreds of years old.
Alex began to search through the books, looking for anything that might provide some answers. After a few minutes, he found a book that seemed to be the key to unlocking the mystery.
The book was titled "The Curse of the Phantom Mansion" and it told the story of a family who had lived in the mansion many years ago. According to the book, the family had been cursed by a powerful witch, and the curse had been passed down through the generations.
The group read the book with fascination, learning about the family's history and the curse that had been placed upon them. They also discovered that the curse could only be broken if the family was able to find a powerful artifact known as the "Eye of the Witch".
The group was determined to find the Eye of the Witch and break the curse. But first, they had to figure out where it was hidden.
They searched the mansion for clues, but came up empty-handed. Finally, they decided to explore the grounds outside the mansion.
After a few hours of searching, they stumbled upon an old graveyard. In the center of the graveyard was a large mausoleum with a single eye carved into the stone.
The group had found the Eye of the Witch.
They quickly retrieved the artifact and returned to the mansion. With the Eye of the Witch in hand, they were able to break the curse and restore the Phantom Mansion to its former glory.
The group was relieved and happy to have solved the mystery. They had faced danger and overcome it, and in the process, they had become closer than ever.
